Aws HTTP-503: Service Unavailable / Capacity Overload
HTTP 503 on AWS (ALB/CloudFront/API Gateway) indicates no healthy targets are registered in the target group or that the service is throttled.
🔧 Verified Fixes for HTTP-503 (Aws)
1
Check DownRadar AWS Health status for regional outage events.
2
Verify EC2 target health in the AWS Application Load Balancer target group.
3
Scale auto-scaling group capacity to handle traffic surges.
🚫 What Will NOT Help During an Upstream Outage
If Aws servers are experiencing an active disruption or maintenance window, performing unnecessary destructive changes to your equipment will not resolve connection failures:
- Reinstalling or deleting the application: Server authentication and handshake errors reside on platform infrastructure, not your local game files.
- Factory-resetting your router or modem: Power-cycling is safe, but resetting router firmware to factory defaults will not bypass cloud gateway errors.
- Submitting ISP line complaints: Upstream provider outages affect all internet providers equally and cannot be resolved by consumer ISP technicians.
